Tenda TEF1109P 9 Port 10/100Mbps Network Switch
TEF1109P-8-63W has network extension technology. Based on the original twisted pair, it can transmit long distances of up to 250 meters, breaking the hundred meter limit. It is a real monitoring private switch with 6KV lightning protection. The IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af PoE standards are supported by ports 1-8. A maximum of 30W of PoE power is provided by each port, and 58W is provided by the entire device. Due to the complex monitoring environment, when making cabling and networking, inadequate network transmission distance is common. Each camera terminal is situated at a different distance from the monitoring center; some are just a few meters away, others are hundreds of meters, and others are kilometers away.
With Tenda’s TEF11 series PoE monitoring switches, exclusive patent network extension technology is used, and the switches support 250 meters data transmission, breaking the existing twisted pair’s transmission limit of only one hundred meters. With gigabit linked SFP ports, it is possible to meet the needs of a few tens of kilometers of transmission. Lighting shocks may also occur when cameras and PoE switches are installed outdoors or in a higher position in real-life monitoring projects. It is possible that some of the equipment will be damaged and even the whole local area network (LAN) may be paralyzed as a result. There is professional lightning protection in the Tenda TEF11 series switches, a 6kV port and a power supply that prevents thunder. It is equivalent to adding a security wall to the entire network monitoring system to effectively insulate lightning current from network cables and power supplies. Furthermore, the test standards are higher than those set by the state CCC. The monitoring network can also provide stable and reliable services during thunderstorms and ensure the normal transmission of images.
