AMD is preparing two Ryzen 5 3500X and Ryzen 5 3500 variants for the sub-$150 US market. As both processors have six cores and six threads, multi-threading support will not be available, but given their price point and market, a cut-down core configuration is expected. These would be the first Ryzen 3000 parts without multi-threading support. Taking a look at AMD Ryzen 5 3500X, its base clock is 3.6 GHz and its boost clock is 4.1 GHz. 

There is 32 MB of cache, a 65W TDP, and a price of around $150 US for this processor. Slides posted by Bulls Lab show the chip features 24 PCIe Gen 4 lanes, 3200 MHz memory, as well as some performance benchmarks that demonstrate the chip’s competitiveness. Ryzen 5 3500, on the other hand, has basically the same specifications as the Ryzen 5 2500 and has the same clock speeds of 3.6 GHz base and 4.1 GHz boost. The main difference between it and the Ryzen 5 3600X is that it has 16 MB of cache instead of 32 MB. While it would lead to a small performance penalty, it would also result in a lower price.
