Tenda TEG1109P 8-Port PoE Gigabit Desktop Switch
In order to build Gigabit WLANs and HD camera monitor networks, Tenda developed the TEG1109P-8-102W gigabit unmanaged lightning protection switch. A high-performance Ethernet access device that has 9-10/100/1000M Base-T Ethernet RJ45 ports; lightning-proof uplink ports; MDI/MDIX and wired speed on every single port; PoE ports that support IEEE802.3at/af standard while automatically detecting and detecting the IEEE802.3at/af standard power supply. Power and data can be transmitted over Cat 5e twisted-pair cables for IP cameras, IP phones, and APs. A PoE dynamic power network helps SMEs, hotels, shopping malls, schools build high-security and reliable networks for wireless covers and HD monitors without being limited by the layout of power lines. In order to protect the switch from thunderstorms and increase stability, it has 6 kV lightning protection for uplink ports. IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af PoE standards are supported by ports 1-8. An individual port provides 30W maximum PoE output, while the entire device provides 92W maximum PoE output. Even when HD IP cameras of 500W are working simultaneously, the 2Mb packet buffer provides smooth transmission of large files. The chip has an integrated power management function and a professional chip control algorithm that calculates output power accurately. Whenever receiving equipment power exceeds the rated power (92W) of the PoE switch, the low priority port of the switch will automatically turn off to prevent the equipment from overheating and prolong its service life. Among the ports 1-8, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af are supported. This device provides 30W maximum PoE output per port and 92W total output.
