The Tenda TEF1110P 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch has network extension technology. The original twisted pair can support up to 250 meters of long distance transmission, exceeding the hundred meter limit. With 6KV lightning protection, it is a real monitoring private switch. The IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af PoE standards are supported by ports 1-8. There is a maximum power supply of 30W for each port and 99W for the entire device. Additionally, the device provides dual gigabit uplink ports for cascading and accessing more equipment. IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af PoE standards are supported by ports 1-8. Machines with PoE maximum output power of 99 Watts; single-port machines with maximum output power of 30 Watts. There are two gigabit uplink ports for cascaded connections of multiple devices. It is common for cameras to be installed outdoors or at high levels in real monitoring projects, which increases the risk of lightning shock to the cameras and PoE switches. As a result, some of the equipment may be damaged and even the whole local area network (LAN) may be paralyzed. Tenda TEF11 series switches have professional lightning protection design – 6kV ports and power supplies that provide lightning protection. It is equivalent to adding a security wall to the entire network monitoring system by using these two lightning protection designs. The test standards are much higher than those of the state CCC. During thunderstorms, the monitoring network can also provide stable and reliable services to the monitoring network and ensure that images are transmitted normally.
